Creative Critical Reflection #1

How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?

My project is conventional and uses conventions throughout the magazine.Typically the front cover of a magazine has a mid shot to a close up for a background and it typically has the Magazine title with the other announcements on the page.

This is typically what a conventional magazine. The color of thee magazine in this instance is extremely bright and has more lighting in the picture. A magazine typically can both have darker lighting and also can have a lighter type of lighting. My magazine has a dark lighting which is still conventional compared to other magazines.
So as you can see my magazine has darker lighting which is stereotypically conventional compared to other magazines. So the front cover is mostly conventional with what most other magazines have. 
The table of contents that I use in my Magazine is also conventional compared to the other standards that deem the other magazines conventional. The majority of the magazines that have the table of contents are those in which a have an overarching magazine title and use large letter fonts to show the reader where things are. I would argue that the table of contents that i have presented is conventional compared to the standar As well as the usage of a picture to draw attraction from the reader. As well as the rest of the magazine which includes the two articles is as well just conventional. The use of a simple layout with a plain color scheme is conventional as well as with a title and a variety of photos included in the magazine. This overall makes my magazine conventional.

3rd quarter revison/submission

These are my revisions for the third quarter. If you look at the comparisons you can see that the table of contents and the cover for the magazine have changed drastically since the beginning forms of the magazine. For the table of contents i changed the layout of the page to make it more organized. Instead of having it more simple i created it to be more appealing. As well as to make it easier for the reader to find out where they should be going. The coverpage i made it so the reader would be drawn to a few certain areas of the page. I changed the font and the location of the words to make it overall more appealing to the reader. The editing of the final submission is still a work in progress however. Throughout the continuation of the next few weeks i will be editing the spread of the two magazine articles. by adding new pictures and changing the layout of the page.
