3rd quarter revison/submission

These are my revisions for the third quarter. If you look at the comparisons you can see that the table of contents and the cover for the magazine have changed drastically since the beginning forms of the magazine. For the table of contents i changed the layout of the page to make it more organized. Instead of having it more simple i created it to be more appealing. As well as to make it easier for the reader to find out where they should be going. The coverpage i made it so the reader would be drawn to a few certain areas of the page. I changed the font and the location of the words to make it overall more appealing to the reader. The editing of the final submission is still a work in progress however. Throughout the continuation of the next few weeks i will be editing the spread of the two magazine articles. by adding new pictures and changing the layout of the page.

Use of Conventions

Some of the conventions that i used first was the simple outline and scheme of colors that i was able to put on my magazine was really to show how simple the magazine is. The colors i used was a light gray to almost just provide an easy background for.  My table of contents has a big bold title which is also conventional. Along with on my title page has the medium to large picture that is the central figure of the title page. The font is usually bigger to draw attention to the article name or title. Which is what i use on both of the articles that has been produced along with the table of contents and cover page. With each of my articles i use a white background which helps the other colors on the page pop. Specifically black or the pictures in the article. Overall i would say that my product is conventional and keeps up with the industries standards. Our magazine does not challenge conventions but uses current conventions effectively.
