As you can see since the start of my production this product has evolved and developed. Looking at the differences between the two magazines i submitted, i first edited the layout of the two articles. Changing the color scheme and the pictures used. The background was changed to white and gray to make the text used and the pictures pop. As well as the overall layout was changed to appeal to the reader. Specifically we can look at the white text used on the black background. As well as the font of the text has changed as well as i made the text more bold. The pictures were changed to one of them being lighter in color. Overall making this product more appealing and conventional

How did you integrate Technologies- Software, hardware and online- In this project? So first the way that we have incorporated technologies into this product is by the distribution plan. Our distribution plan incorporated a large amount of technology. As we would want to offer an online subscriptions service that is upheld by an application or a website that would be in our best interest. As well as throughout the project i have had to use cameras and editing tools to not only take the photo but to edit it and then insert it into the magazine. To create the magazine i used web design and published such as Microsoft publisher and C anva in order to create the theme and layout of the magazine. Those online programs helped me immensely with the editing and the changing of the  layout for my magazines.These programs made it easier to make my cover more conventional because of the options that the online publisher provided me.  So because these publishers helped my find my magaz...

How did your production skills develop throughout this project? I was never huge on doing well throughout any creative processes. However i believe that since the beginning of this project my production skills have drastically improved. We can first look to my title page and see the drastic differences that i had at the beginning compared to now. I realized that something that is conventional that i didn't have in my project was the mid shot of food and the outstanding and underlying feature of a professional layout. I realized that the layout of the page is also apart of how the magazine is read and portrayed. My skills really began to develop as i began to understand what the target audience was looking for in a magazine. Before what i had developed i did not create a good layout with appealing contrasting colors for the titles on the front page. So after realizing this mistake i redid the front page. How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text? I think that some of the best ways that such magazines are able to interact with their audiences is through the use of digital media, as well as to be able to distribute the product. Usually magazines that are in the food industry tend to give recipes or suggestions as to what the reader should eat or to cook. So in my magazine we are first in one article focusing on a recipe that the reader should try the recipe or the suggestion. Here is an example of The American Diabetes Association magazine giving a reader a recipe to try at home. This engages the audience with the magazine because they are using that magazine to make their dish. This makes it more likely that the reader come back and read or spread the work about the magazine.In our magazine we do focus on the importance of the engagement in our articles in order to really achieve the target audience engagement that we want. ...

How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues? My project is conventional and uses conventions throughout the magazine.Typically the front cover of a magazine has a mid shot to a close up for a background and it typically has the Magazine title with the other announcements on the page. This is typically what a conventional magazine. The color of thee magazine in this instance is extremely bright and has more lighting in the picture. A magazine typically can both have darker lighting and also can have a lighter type of lighting. My magazine has a dark lighting which is still conventional compared to other magazines. So as you can see my magazine has darker lighting which is stereotypically conventional compared to other magazines. Bon Apetit is another large Food Magazine Enterprise that is in the national spotlight. Bon Apetit has been able to distribute is magazine and articles all online. As well as having a subscription service. Bon Apetit uses their website to stir interest and to digitally distribute thier magazine. This article labeled on the website "Top 10 Dishes in march" They use this to help create engagement and the website allows them to digitally distribute not only their magazine but also the articles. When the company allows their articles to be published separately of the magazine, it helps stir interest in the reader. This creates a sense of interest from the reader into then wanting to buy a subscription to read other articles in the magazine. Which then helps distribute the magazine to the readers online if they are buying more subscrptions.
